Alex Gordon has had a lot of big moments for the KC Royals in his career, but what are some of his all-time best?

The KC Royals are a team that prides themselves on not having just one leader. Everyone in that clubhouse has played an important role in the success that has been built and the new meaning of being Royal.

While none of them will shy away from leadership, most don’t hesitate when answering who the captain of that clubhouse is. Whether he admits it or not, the players look to Alex Gordon as their leader. He doesn’t need a ‘C’ on his chest to get that respect and admiration, he’s earned it.

Perhaps the biggest moment of Alex Gordon’s career came in this year’s off-season. Gordon became a free agent and there was a lot of speculation that his time in Royals’ blue was over.

There was even some talk of him going to the White Sox, but a major injustice was avoided when he signed a deal with the Royals that will essentially keep him a Royal for life.

Alex Gordon is one of the hardest working players on the field, and he’s been with the Royals at their worst and at their absolute best. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and relive some of his best moments (It should be noted that the playoffs magnify the implications of everything, so while he’s had some walk off hits in the past, it’ll be hard to top his playoff productions).
