Second Base Competition

Second base appears to be up for grabs. It has been well documented this off-season that the Royals plan to let Christian Colon and Omar Infante compete for the starting second base job.

The Royals have shown just what they’re capable of when facing high-leverage situations. Perhaps this competition will inspire a rebirth in Omar Infante.

Christian Colon may be the most clutch player the Royals have. Twice he’s come up big for the Royals when it mattered most.
