Wade Davis: Ranked 46th

When Wade Davis came over to the Royals in the Wil Myers/James Shields trade, he seemed like an afterthought. Now, he’s the best reliever in baseball and the highest ranked relief pitcher on MLB Network’s list.

When Davis transitioned to the bullpen, no one could predict he would become the lock-down reliever that he’s become. His stats over the last two seasons are incredible, and when Davis enters the game there is little doubt the Royals will walk away with a victory.
