The KC Royals had five players show up in MLB Network’s annual list of the best players in baseball. Which five champions made the list?

Every year, MLB Network does a series of segments called ‘Top 1oo right now’ that chronicle the best players in the Major Leagues. Each segment counts down 20 players at a time to create one giant list of 100 of the game’s very best.

The ranking consists on the player’s performance over the past few seasons as well as what they’re projected to do in 2016.

While no players cracked the top 20, the Royals are used to being underrated at this point in their careers. Projection’s systems continue to deny the Royals a shot at winning, and the Royals keep on proving that the game isn’t played on paper.

Alright, that’s enough complaining and ranting about just how poor the projection systems have been. Now it’s time to prepare for what these players have to offer in 2016 and enjoy what they’ve done these past couple of seasons.

Let’s look at each player in the list and relive some of their best moments.
