Dillon Gee

Dillon Gee had spent all six years of his career with the New York Mets until the Kansas City Royals signed him to a minor league deal this offseason.

During those six years, Gee has proved to be an average pitcher, with an ERA of 4.03 in his career. He was injured last year for the Mets, which is why the Royals didn’t face him in the World Series.

He could very well be a similar free agent acquisition to Kris Medlen just a season ago, and who knows? Maybe he could join the team midway through the season and do what Medlen did last year.

Gee has the ability to be an under the radar candidate for the rotation in 2016, but he’ll have to prove himself.

This is why Dillon Gee’s walk-out song is “Ready To Go” by Republica.

This song captivates what Gee will be trying to accomplish this season while in the minor leagues. He needs to be ready to give it his all and to prove himself and make it back to the big leagues.
