KC Royals: Five Bold Predictions For 2016

While ‘bold predictions’ are fun, seeing the Royals turn a blind eye to the projections is even better.
Spring Training is right around the corner and the anticipation for Royals’ baseball to begin is as high as ever. With most of the core group of players still intact, the Royals should be in good shape for the 2016 season.
With any luck, and a little ‘Esky Magic’, the Royals will laugh in the face of the projections again in 2016. They’ve already proven that there are certain immeasurable traits that help them win games such as team chemistry and sheer will to win.
This team flat-out loves to win. They love to win for each other and for the fans. Alex Gordon summarized it perfectly when he was quoted saying:

That quote is apparent in the way they play the game. They play a blue-collar, gritty style of baseball that makes it hard for anyone to dislike the Royals.
Hopefully, the Royals will live up to a few of these ‘bold predictions’ and perhaps even outperform a few more. If there is any doubt in their ability to set new standards, just look at the last couple of seasons.
