KC Chiefs: 5 Super Bowl 50 Prop Bets To Consider
By Scott Dillon
Will Peyton Manning get pass happy?
Peyton Manning hasn’t reached the 225 yards passing mark in either of the post-season games this year. They led for most of the New England game, and it was some big plays by the running backs that helped them to their victories.
If Manning is passing this much in the game it may be because the Broncos are down big, late in the game.
Their defense has also been dominant enough in those games to negate the lack of a passing attack that the Broncos have. The prop bet for this slide is about Manning’s passing yards. The line currently sits at:
Manning throws more than 235.5 yards (-110) vs. Manning throws less than 235.5 yards (-110)
This means a bet of $100 would payout a total of $210. ($100 bet plus $110 winnings)
Chiefs’ fans should likely root for Manning breaking this mark. If Manning is passing this much in the game it may be because the Broncos are down big, late in the game.
Gary Kubiak likes to run the ball a lot and uses the run to set up play-action. If the Panthers jump out to a big lead, the Broncos may be forced to leave their comfort zone and put the ball entirely in Manning’s shaky hands.
