Will Cam Newton Do the ‘Dab’?
In order for the Panthers to win the super bowl they are probably going to have to score some touchdowns. They are going to have to do it against the number one ranked defense in the league.
This prop bet doesn’t really have anything to do with whether or not Cam Newton will do the dab, and more to do with whether or not he’ll score a rushing touchdown. Though it can be assumed that if he does score, he’ll flash his dance moves.
If you haven’t seen the ‘dab’ yet it looks something like this:
Newton is not favored to score a rushing touchdown in Super Bowl 50. The line on this right now is:
No (Newton will not score a rushing touchdown : -160) vs. Yes (Newton will score a rushing touchdown: +140)
What that means is a $100 bet for Newton to score a rushing touchdown would payout $240. ($100 bet plus $140 winnings)
It will already be good for KC Chiefs’ fans to see the Broncos giving up a touchdown, but to see the ‘dab’ and potentially earn $140 isn’t bad either. (Even if the Broncos win, having a little extra money in your pocket feels good)
