Kansas City Royals all-time wins leaders: 10. Danny Duffy (64 wins)

The Royals took Danny Duffy in the third round of the 2007 MLB Draft and he’s been one of the biggest faces of the franchise ever since. Duffy battled injuries early on in his career but has been someone the team can depend on since his call-up in 2011.

His best year came in 2014 when he appeared in 31 games — starting 25 of those — and threw 149.1 innings. He finished that season with a sparkling 2.53 ERA and notched nine wins that year. While Duffy’s never had quite that good of a season, he did earn 12 wins in 2016 while throwing 179.2 innings and finishing that year with a 3.51 ERA.

When this article first published in 2016, Duffy was not on the list, but he’s now found himself in the No. 11 spot. He passed some big names like Dick Drago and Zack Greinke to get to this point and with one more year remaining on his contract, he might be able to climb a few more spots by the time his Royals career is over with.
