Number Two Possible Destination: Houston Texans

Again, Chase Daniel is from Texas. Houston is a city in Texas. Houston needs a quarterback. Need I say more?

We all saw just how bad the quarterback situation was for the Texans when the Chiefs played them in 2015. Brian Hoyer was excruciatingly bad in both games and it’s evident he is not the future solution for the Texans.

If nothing else, he could be brought in to help the rookie quarterback that the Texans will likely select in the first round of this year’s draft.

Houston really is just a quarterback away from being a Super Bowl contender. They have a scary defense headlined by J.J. Watt. They have a pretty good receiver in DeAndre Hopkins. Oh, and Arian Foster should be ready to roll next season.

Daniel could be the missing piece to a Houston team that is ready to win it all. If nothing else though, he could be brought in to help the rookie quarterback that the Texans will likely select in the first round of this year’s draft. Let the kid sit behind Daniel for a season or two and then hand him the reigns.

This was originally my top choice for where Daniel ended up next year, but then something happened within the Chiefs’ coaching staff. Can you guess what number one is?
