Number Five Possible Destination: Dallas Cowboys

Chase Daniel is originally from the state of Texas, so a reunion to the state where he was raised makes sense here. The Cowboys would be a good option for Daniel due to the fact that they had a miserable season in 2015 due to poor backup quarterback play.

The Cowboys need a backup quarterback and Daniel is a good one.

Tony Romo went down with an injury after only two games and ended up seeing the field only two more times after that. His backups did not fare well, going 1-11 down the stretch. Eek.

Daniel has proven that he is a reliable backup during his Chiefs days, starting in two games when Alex Smith couldn’t play (or was intentionally sitting out) and posting a 1-1 record. Daniel really should have won both of those games, but was screwed over by a bad call against San Diego that allowed them to win.

The Cowboys need a backup quarterback and Daniel is a good one. The reason this is the fifth option is because it’s been rumored that the Cowboys are more interested (for whatever reason) in acquiring either Robert Griffin III or Johnny Manziel as their backups. To each their own, I guess.

If Daniel does become a Cowboy, I’d suddenly be a little more of a Dallas fan.
