Kansas City Chiefs: Ten Most Surprising Players In 2015
Number 10 Biggest Surprise Player for the Chiefs – Albert Wilson
Headed into the 2015 season, it was a tossup as to who would be the KC Chiefs’ second starting wide receiver. Obviously Jeremy Maclin was going to be the sure starter, but who would play the opposite side of the field?

Second year man Albert Wilson won the second wide receiver starting job over rookie Chris Conley and really flourished in his second year in the pros. Sure, he didn’t have mesmerizing stats, but Wilson proved to be a reliable receiver for Alex Smith.
He ended the year with three touchdowns (two in the regular season, one in the playoffs) and had 451 yards receiving during the regular season.
It was nice to see Wilson pick back up from where he left off at the end of 2014, as he was a bit of a question mark to some fans heading into this season. We didn’t see a whole lot of Wilson in his rookie year, but by the end of the year, he was probably the best receiver on the team.
It wouldn’t be shocking if Conley was able to fight his way to a starting spot next season, but Wilson has proved that he belongs on this team and hopefully he can keep playing at a high level.
