Chicago Bears. Alshon Jeffery. 3. player. 57. 2015 Stats: 54 receptions for 807 yards and 4 touchdowns. WR

Alshon Jeffery would be a long-shot signing for the Chiefs because of the amount of money he is going to demand, but if the front office really wanted to make a splash, this is how they would do it.

Jeffery is still very young at 25 and has tremendous size at 6-foot-3 inches. Combine that size with his great athleticism and you have one of the best receivers in the NFC over the past two seasons. The Chicago Bears are not going to just let him walk away and I’m sure he’ll be getting a massive offer from them as well as a few other teams.

In Kansas City, he would combine with Jeremy Maclin to make one of the best receiver duos in the NFL and the Chiefs would suddenly become one of the sexy picks to go to the Super Bowl in 2017. Consider Jeffery and Maclin with Kelce and Jamaal Charles on offense with the stellar defense (if we can bring every one back) and you have a very good team.

Unfortunately, he is probably going to get around Jeremy Maclin-money at $11 million or so per season, which the Chiefs will most likely not give to a second receiver at the same time.

Nonetheless, it is fun to dream and if Royals general manager Dayton Moore was the GM of this team, we could see a signing similar to this.
