KC Chiefs: Five Best Games Of 2015 Season
By Scott Dillon
Number 4: Chiefs 34 – Raiders 20
The Chiefs actually labored in this game for most of the first three quarters. They actually trailed in the fourth quarter before their defense took control of the game.
The Chiefs forced Derek Carr into throwing three interceptions and turned all three interceptions into scores. Alex Smith hit Jeremy Maclin to tie the game and then again to take the lead with eight minutes left in the game.
While this was mostly an ugly game for the Chiefs, especially on special teams, they showed some late game fight that saw them not just stage a comeback, but put up a score that looks almost dominate.
The Chiefs were only up by six points when the Raiders got the ball back as Cairo Santos missed the extra point. Forcing yet another turnover, Tyvon Branch put the game on ice with a pick-six that went for 38 yards.

With this game potentially being one of the Chiefs’ last forays into Oakland given the uncertainty of where the team will play next season, it was nice to stamp a ‘W’ on this one.
With a ball-hawking defense and efficient play from Alex Smith the Chiefs proved they are capable of scoring a lot of points in a hurry.
