KC Chiefs: Five Best Games Of 2015 Season
By Scott Dillon
Number 5: Chiefs 45 – Lions 10
The Chiefs went into this game on November first with a record of two wins and five losses. Most Kansas City fans were still trying to comprehend what had just happened the night before when the Royals stole a win from the Mets on David Murphy’s late error.
The Chiefs were not only in the middle of what seemed like a hopeless season, but they were playing a ‘home’ game on the road in London.

The Chiefs ran all over the Lions in this game both on offense and defense.
On offense the Chiefs ran for four touchdowns with Alex Smith, De’Anthony Thomas, Spencer Ware, and Charcandrick West all scoring on the ground. They racked up over 200 yards on the ground including a 49 yard scamper by Alex Smith.
On defense, the Chiefs got to the Matthew Stafford for six sacks and picked him off twice. They allowed close to 300 total yards, thought most of those came in ‘garbage time’ at the end of the game.
This game was the first truly dominate performance in a string of great defensive games for the Chiefs. It was also the second win in their streak that wouldn’t see a KC sports team lose a game the rest of the year.
