KC Chiefs: Five Best Games Of 2015 Season
By Scott Dillon
The KC Chiefs 2015 season was one to remember turning a 1-5 start into their first playoff win in over twenty years.
In spite of falling into a hole that saw their playoff odds drop to 4.7 percent, the KC Chiefs found a way to pick up 10 wins in a row to earn a playoff berth.
Not only did they find their way into the playoffs, they gave the Denver Broncos a run for their money at trying to win the AFC West. Hopefully, it’s a sign of things to come for the division.
Denver has won the West for five consecutive seasons, and while they’re still just a win away from a Super Bowl berth, their struggles down the stretch might indicate they’re on their way out.
The Chiefs have some holes to fill in free-agency and will have some stiff competition from an up and coming Oakland Raiders team, but if they can play all of next year with the same kind of poise they demonstrated down the stretch, the Chiefs have a good shot at winning the division next season.
Breakout seasons by Marcus Peters and running backs, Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware, give the future Chiefs play makers on both sides of the ball. The late emergence of Chris Conley as a legitimate compliment to Jeremy Maclin and the impending return of Jamaal Charles gives the Chiefs the potential of a very dynamic offense in 2016.
While there is a lot of promise for the 2016 version of the KC Chiefs, there were a few games in particular that demonstrate just how good they can be.
