Lead by more than three at the end of the game

If the Patriots need three or less to tie or win and have the ball at the end of the game, they’re in trouble. Stephen Gostkowski is one of the most accurate kickers of all time and one of the most clutch.

When the Patriots need a field goal to tie or win a game Gostkowski has been almost automatic. The Patriots have a flair for the dramatic and always seem to find themselves with the football last.

Brady is fine not being the hero. He gave his Super Bowl MVP to Malcolm Butler after last years victory. They may not be able to put up a last drive touchdown against our defense, but Tom Brady has constructed many field goal range winning drives in his career.

What that means for the offense is they can’t sit back and wait for the game to be over. If they ever have a lead, they’ve got to stay on the attack and try and put the game away. New England is not the kind of team that you want to have to put together a stop on their last drive. If the Chiefs can be up by a touchdown late, I think they can hold on to win.
