Royals Rumors have been very kind to Kansas City fans, as Alex Gordon’s signing was confirmed. Soon after, the Royals were then tied to another free agent name in Ian Kennedy.
Royals Rumors were in full effect yesterday, as the recently quiet Royals were tied to not one but two free agents. This report on Ian Kennedy is a good thing.
While this news didn’t bring about the clamor and excitement of the Alex Gordon signing, nor should it, it’s still great news for Kansas City Royals fans. This report means at least a couple of things:
- The Royals are active in the free agent market again.
For at least a couple of weeks there had been no movement by the Royals in adding players to fill the holes left by recent departures. Now, within the span of just a couple of hours, the KC Royals not only filled a hole and retained a fan favorite, but they are also involved in rumors regarding starting pitching.
