KC Chiefs: Good, Bad, Ugly VS Oakland In Season Finale
The KC Chiefs closed out their 2015 campaign on Sunday with a 23-17 victory over arch rival Oakland.
Hey, it wasn’t a completely dominant performance, but Kansas City Chiefs fans should be thrilled about this one! Ten straight victories heading into the playoffs, AND the Chiefs swept the Raiders for the second time in three years.
Not going to lie, I did get a little nervous near the end of the game, but the Chiefs defense held the Raiders off and preserved yet another victory. Awesome.
Before we dive into the good, bad, and ugly, I just want to point out that the KC Chiefs, after starting the season at 1-5, were one win away from winning the AFC West. Yes, after a 1-5 start, the Chiefs could have hosted a playoff game.
Had this team not lost its cool after the Broncos loss (or you know… just beat the Broncos in week two), then Arrowhead Stadium could have been hosting a big time playoff game next weekend (or even the weekend after that).
A positive though… The Chiefs went 5-1 in the AFC West this year. That’s their best finish in the division since… Well… It’s been a long time since the Chiefs even finished above .500 in the West.
Now, let’s get to the good, the bad, and the ugly in this weekend’s game against the Raiders.
