Sit ‘Em #2

Drew Brees is coming off of his worst game of the season last week against the Houston Texans. He threw for just 228 yards (the lowest this season) and failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season as well.

He completed 25 of 44 attempts for 228 yards and an interception in Sunday’s loss to the Texans.

The Texans are hot as a team right now, so this game is likely a fluke and Brees will get better as the season progresses, but this week they take on the Carolina Panthers who are undefeated and have one of the best defenses in the league. I can’t see the Saints being able to do much offensively against the stout Panthers.

If you have Brees, you should look to the free agent market for guys like Brock Osweiler for this week. After this week, Brees should get back to normal and get back to being a good fantasy starter.

Don’t start him.
