Sit ‘Em #1
Frank Gore has been a disappointment so far this season. He has only scored over ten points 3 out of his 11 games in his first year with the Indianapolis Colts. The positive is that he hasn’t been hurt at any point this season. Almost every other starting running back in the NFL has missed a game this season and Gore being active is huge for fantasy owners, but he needs to have more production.
I wouldn’t consider him as anything better than a flex option in standard leagues. Don’t expect him to break into double-digits.
In Week 13, Gore and the Colts go up against the number one ranked Pittsburgh Steelers in fantasy points allowed to running backs. The Colts offensive line is really struggling to get it together but they probably will not succeed this week against Pittsburgh.
I wouldn’t consider him as anything better than a flex option in standard leagues. Don’t expect him to break into double-digits. I see 40-year-old quarterback Matt Hasslebeck, who is filling in for the injured Andrew Luck, having to carry the load again for the Colts to get a victory.
The Colts are 4-0 this season with Hasslebeck at the helm.
