The Good: Spencer Ware

For the second week in a row, Spencer Ware was on fire. Give props to Eric Bieniemy for getting these running backs up and running week after week.

Ware has been dominant in his two weeks in the back field for the Chiefs, and it’s almost like Jamaal Charles never even went down.

Ware ended the day with 19 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown, including a long of 35 yards that led to the Chiefs being able to knock through a field goal to give them an eight point lead.

Ware has been dominant in his two weeks in the back field for the Chiefs, and it’s almost like Jamaal Charles never even went down. Since Charles has gone down, both Charcandrick West and Ware have stepped in nicely for the Chiefs stud running back.

I never would have thought that I’d be applauding the team’s fourth running back as much as I am (or at all, considering most teams don’t even have to use their backup running back for more than a few plays at a time), but here I am, one of Spencer Ware’s biggest fans this season.

Why shouldn’t I be? The dude has straight up balled in the past two games.

If West is able to return for next weekend’s game in Oakland, he and Ware will certainly cause problems for the Raiders run defense.
