The KC Chiefs have won four games in a row and sit at 5-5 on the year. While this season hasn’t been perfect, the Chiefs have given their fans a lot to be thankful for this holiday season.
Many thought the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season was over once they fell to 1-5 on the season and looked helpless in games. There was one point where the Chiefs had lost five straight games.
Fortunately, Andy Reid‘s unit started clicking and they’ve managed to win four straight games and get back to .500.
With the last six weeks of the NFL season looming, let’s take a look at five reasons Chiefs fans should be thankful for their team this holiday season.

5) AFC not playing well
The Chiefs have been able to get back into the thick of things due to the lack of participants in the AFC. As of now, only four teams in the conference have winning records out of a total 16 teams.
In fact, the AFC South is so bad that the leader(s) of that division currently sit at 5-5, the same record that the Chiefs have at the moment.
Obviously things will have to change, as more and more AFC teams will face each other and therefore will gain wins and losses as a result, but still. Week 12 starts on Thanksgiving Day, and only FOUR teams in the AFC have records above .500. Jeez.
Don’t get me wrong though. This bodes extremely well for the Chiefs, who only play AFC teams from here on out. Let’s hope they can take advantage and punch their ticket to the playoffs.
