Packers former second round pick Eddie Lacy has been probably the biggest bust this year in fantasy football. He has scored over 10 fantasy points in standard leagues just one time, which was in the season opener against the rival Chicago Bears.

Head coach Mike McCarthy decided a couple of weeks ago to go with James Starks as the Packers starting runningback for the rest of the season barring injury. Starks seems to fit in better with what McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers want to do with the offense.

Starks is much quicker than Lacy, and also has much better hands. With the Packers being primarily a passing offense, Starks has become the favorite back in Green Bay.

Lacy has basically faded into the background and has seemingly accepted the fact that he is no longer starting. Last week, he was injured and didn’t even suit up, but when he is on the field, he just doesn’t look like the powerful back that he once was.

In Week 11, Lacy and the Packers matchup with the surprisingly stingy Viking run defense. The Vikings may be the NFL’s biggest surprise thus far this season, and their defense is no exception.

Keep Lacy out of your lineup until further notice.
