Start ‘Em #2
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been out since being knocked out of Week two’s game against the Eagles. Romo suffered a collarbone injury that has sidelined him ever since. The Cowboys attempted to replace him with both Branden Weeden and Matt Cassel, but neither could get a win.
Cowboys’ fans are obviously ready for their quarterback to return, as they are sitting at 2-7, basically out of the playoffs. But now, in Week 11, Romo returns to a fully-healthy Cowboy offense with the confidence that he can actually lead the Cowboys into the playoffs… This year.
While he may be delusional in that sense, he still should be able to put up good numbers for his fantasy owners who were smart enough to nab him up before he got hot.
In Week 11, Romo and the Cowboys travel to Miami to take on the 24th ranked (in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks) Dolphins. The matchup should be very good for Romo considering how good his offensive line is right now.
They should be able to keep him upright, and I see Romo having a pretty good return to action. If you don’t have a sure-fire option at quarterback, don’t be afraid to give Romo a look.
Consider him a middle-of-the-road starting fantasy quarterback this week.
