It’s crunch time! Making the best Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em choices is more important each week.

Week 11 of the 2015 NFL season is here, and that means it is time to take a look at those fantasy football lineups.

This is my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em article where I try to help you make some tough lineup decisions, whether that means starting a players that normally doesn’t start for your team, or benching a player that is normally in your starting lineup.

Here are my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em picks from last week. To get to Week 11’s start/sit picks just go to the next slide of the article).

Last Week’s Start ‘Em

Oakland Raiders. Derek Carr. 5. player. 28. . QB

Derek Carr had a pretty solid outing in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings. He ended throwing for just over 300 yards and added two passing touchdowns as well. He did throw two interceptions.

He finished with 21 fantasy points in standard 6-point passing touchdown leagues, which is a pretty average score but my guess is that if you had to start Carr, you didn’t have much of an option anyways.

James Starks. 4. player. 49. . RB. Green Bay Packers

James Starks had a decent performance last week. He finished with 96 total yards, but failed to get into the endzone. Eddie Lacy didn’t play in the game due to injury, which gave the newly-proclaimed starter a crack at the job without Lacy on his heels.

He had 21 total touches, including 6 receptions. While the Packers have lost three straight and honestly have looked pretty bad in doing so, Starks continues to be the one player on the offense that has consistent success. Keep him in your lineup unless Lacy makes a furious comeback.

. RB. New England Patriots. LeGarrette Blount. 3. player. 47

LeGarrette Blount scored his sixth rushing touchdown of the season last week. He also added 77 total yards on 19 carries and 2 catches. The New England Patriots offense is rolling even without injured back Dion Lewis and now Julian Edelman as well.

Blount is a big and powerful back that fits nicely with the rest of the Patriot offense. With Lewis now done for the season, Blount should see an increase in his playing time, and will be a great #2 running back option in all fantasy leagues going forward.

Last Week’s Sit ‘Em

Kansas City Chiefs. Jeremy Maclin. 2. player. 124. . WR

As expected, Jeremy Maclin struggled mightily against the best defense in the NFL, the Denver Broncos. Even with star cornerback Aqib Talib out because of a suspension, Maclin was plastered with coverage all game long.

He finished with just 17 total yards, good for 1 fantasy point. We all know that Chiefs’ quarterback Alex Smith doesn’t like to take many chances and he continued to show that in Week 10. Maclin should be able to find some more room to run this week against the San Diego Chargers.

QB. Tennessee Titans. Marcus Mariota. 1. player. 35.

Rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota had a very rough matchup in Week 10 with the undefeated Carolina Panthers. The Panthers defense is one of the best in the league, and going into the game, I thought it could pose a problem for him.

He ended the game with just 185 passing yards, 1 interception, and no touchdowns. Mariota has failed to top 220 yards passing in three of his last four appearances, making last week’s one-game resurgence against the Saints look like more of a fluke than anything else.
