13. . Quarterback. San Diego Chargers. Philip Rivers. 2. player

These final two will likely be on everyone’s list and Philip Rivers was even on the all-time list that Josh Michaels wrote back in the day.

It’s funny because I actually didn’t mind the Chargers when I was younger. I liked Drew Brees a lot and didn’t get as upset when the Chargers beat the Chiefs as opposed to when the Broncos or Raiders beat the Chiefs. It was weird.

One day, Brees signed with the Saints and it was Philip Rivers time in San Diego, which meant that all of Kansas City had a new enemy in San Diego.

The reason Rivers is annoying is because of the temper tantrums he throws whenever he doesn’t get his way or makes a bad play. He’s always pouting on the sideline and while it’s hysterical to watch, it’s not so much fun when he starts jiving and talking trash (which he only does when he’s winning).

Some of my favorite Rivers moments are as follows:

  • On the Monday night game on Halloween in 2011 when he fumbled the snap in the red zone. Once the Chiefs were about to win the game, the camera panned to Rivers on the sideline and you could make out his lips saying, “Worst day ever!” Brilliant.
  • The final game of the season in 2014 when the KC defense was rocking Rivers all day long. All the Chargers had to do was win the game and they’d be in the playoffs and they lost, which caused Rivers to have a full on meltdown on the sideline. Classic.
  • The Chiefs sweeping him for the first time last year.

All of these were great moments for me and others who strongly dislike Philip Rivers and with the Chargers sitting at 2-7 this year, let’s hope the Chiefs can keep beating up on him and his Bolts.
