If James Starks isn’t already owned in your league, then you either have a 6-team league or are in a league that doesn’t know what it’s doing! It’s beyond me how Starks isn’t owned in all leagues already, but he isn’t even though Packers’ head coach Mike McCarthy has publicly named him as his starting running back.
Starks has been much more effective in 2015 than Eddie Lacy who, coming into the season, was considered to be a first-round talent. Lacy has fallen flat on his face, not fitting in well with what quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to do in the offense.
Starks is a much quicker back who also has very good hands. Much better hands than Lacy, which is the primary reason that the Packers decided to go with Starks.
Other than the game against Denver, the last four outings have been pretty successful for Starks, putting up 23, 0, 17, and 9 in consecutive weeks. Looking forward to the rest of the season, the Packers really only have one difficult matchup for Starks, which would be in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Eddie Lacy is all but done this season in Green Bay, but James Starks on the other hand is one of the better options in fantasy, and should be considered a good #2 fantasy running back from here on out.
