Brandon LaFell has only participated in a few games this season due to to a foot injury. He is one of the more talented receivers on the best offense in football, so he deserves to at least be looked at by fantasy owners.
LaFell has shown some rust since returning to the Pats’ lineup, dropping multiple balls in his first game back and a couple more since, but now with the news of Julian Edelman being out multiple injuries with his own foot injury, LaFell should be on every owners radar.
Edelman, as I said in the last slide, was a huge part of the Patriots’ offense, and his absence will be a group effort to fill. Danny Amendola, Gronk, and LaFell should all benefit greatly in his absence.
I wouldn’t say that owners should start LaFell just yet because I haven’t seen much from him yet, and he won’t be taking up a new role in the slot, as that is more of Amendola’s specialty, but he could be a key option down the stretch for those of you who are trying to get into your fantasy playoffs.
Snatch him up if you can, but don’t put him in your lineup until he proves that he can be productive this season.
