The Ugly: K-State’s chances of making a bowl game

Maybe another cop out here, but it’s true. Kansas State has a very little chance of making it to a bowl game this season.

  • It would be the first time Kansas State football hasn’t made a bowl game since the 2009 season when Bill Snyder rejoined the team after having been gone for several years. Since then, the Wildcats have made it to a bowl game and have at least been competitive in the regular season.

As I mentioned in the good though, there is hope for the Cats still.

The only problem is that they have to win six games in order to be eligible for a bowl game, and they only have three wins at the moment. Therefore, the Wildcats have to win out this season in order to even be bowl eligible.

It’s not looking good, but with Iowa State and Kansas on the horizon, Kansas State certainly isn’t out of the running quite yet. You just never know what could happen in college football and that’s why they play the games.
