WR. Kansas City Chiefs. Jeremy Maclin. 2. player. 124. Week 10 Projection: Standard: 6/PPR: 9

Jeremy Maclin is in his first season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He scored the Chiefs first touchdown from a wide receiver in almost two seasons, and has mostly proven to be worth the big contract that he signed with the team this offseason.

He and tight end Travis Kelce have proven to be Alex Smith’s favorite options to throw to this season. Maclin fits well in the Chiefs’ offense with his combo of speed and strength that he shows after the catch.

This being said, he has been a pretty big hit-or-miss fantasy play this season, scoring in double digit fantasy points only twice thus far.

In Week 10, the Chiefs take on the best defense in the NFL in the Denver Broncos. In Week 2, the first matchup between the Chiefs and Broncos, Maclin only put up 5 total fantasy points in standard scoring leagues, tied for second worst this season for him.

I wouldn’t start Maclin in any league this week, even with Aquib Talib being suspended for the game. Talib would have been matched up with Maclin for the majority of the game.

I would look elsewhere for fantasy production this week at the wide receiver spots in your lineup. Consider him a flex option at best this week.
