New England Patriots. LeGarrette Blount. 3. player. 47. Week 10 Projection: Standard: 13/PPR: 14. RB

LeGarrette Blount had been sharing his carries with Dion Lewis, who basically came out of nowhere this season and became one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets with his shifty style of play.

Lewis and Blount are two completely different types of backs, which proved to be quite good for the Patriots offense. Lewis went down with a season ending injury last week, which leaves Blount, James White, and Branded Bolden as the options at running back for the Pats.

This means that they will have to rely much heavier on Blount than they have so far this season, so I see his workload getting a lot bigger.

In Week 10, Blount and the Pats matchup with the New York Giants, who have a much-improving offense. I see this game becoming a shootout, where both teams should score in or near the thirties.

This should bode well for Blount who I think will be in double-digits for sure. If you have him, get him in your lineup until he proves he isn’t worthy.
