James Starks has obviously taken a hold of the Green Bay Packers run game and left opening day starter Eddie Lacy in the dust. Last week against Carolina, he put up 123 total yards and also added a receiving touchdown as well.

Starks is a much different back than Lacy, and I believe the Packers are all but done with Lacy, who doesn’t have much speed for a running back and doesn’t have the best hands for quarterback Aaron Rodgers to look at coming out of the backfield.

Starks, on the other hand has great hands and is much more shifty than Lacy. In my opinion, his style of play is way better suited for the Packers offense, and I don’t see why they would go back to featuring Lacy this season.

In Week 10, the Packers take on the lowly Detroit Lions defense. The Lions rank 28th in total fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. He should have a heck of a game if the Packers feature him like they did last week.

Starks should be started in all leagues if you don’t have two or three better options depending on what size of leagues you are in
