Derek Carr has now scored more than 30 fantasy points (in 6-point passing touchdown leagues) in each of his last three games. Carr has come on extremely strong in just his second season out of Fresno State with new additions at wide-out Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree.
Both receivers were high draft picks in their respective drafts, and they are now coming together to form what seems like one of the most lethal duos in the NFL on the outside. Carr has taken advantage of having both guys, as they are both having quality seasons.
In Week 10, Carr and the Raiders take on the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have been pretty good against opposing quarterbacks, as they rank fifth in the NFL in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
This being said, I would keep Carr active in almost all leagues because of the hot streak he is on. Week 10’s game is in Oakland as well, which should help the second year quarterback.
Consider him a solid start in all leagues. Get him active if you can.
