James O’Shaughnessy was brought in to help out in the tight end position. Sure the Chiefs have Travis Kelce, who has proved to be one of the best tight ends in the league, but he can’t do it all.

He looked like a miniature Travis Kelce in that Denver game, but the flashes of Kelce haven’t been there much since.

So far this season, James O’Shaughnessy has compiled six receptions off of nine targets for 87 yards. He has yet to score a touchdown so far.

O’Shaughnessy’s most impressive performance came against the Denver Broncos in week two. In that game, O’Shaughnessy had two receptions for 54 yards and had 27 yards per reception.
