There was no game for the KC Chiefs this past weekend. That makes it the perfect time to grade the rookies so far this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs drafted nine new players during the 2015 NFL Draft and a significant amount of those players have made an impact so far this season. 2015 hasn’t been a great season for the Chiefs, as they sit at 3-5 and are in third place in the AFC West.
It’s been disappointing to say the least, as many, like myself, expected this year’s Chiefs team to be a legitimate playoff contender. Instead, the Chiefs have struggled and now will have to settle for a Wildcard spot, which they’d be lucky if they can even make it there.
Out of the nine rookies who were drafted this year, four have seen significant playing time, four have been in and out of games (mainly on special teams), and one is on the practice squad.
Let’s take a look at the rookies who have seen a decent amount of playing time this year and what grade they’ve earned at this point of the season.
