Sit ‘Em #1

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts matchup with the (by far) best defense in the NFL this season, the Denver Broncos in Week 9. The Broncos’ defense has shown the ability to do everything from rush the passer, to stopping the run, to pass defense at the halfway mark of the 2015 NFL season.

The Broncos D has just demolished basically every offense in it’s path this season and the Colts should be no different. The Colts and especially Andrew Luck have surprisingly struggled all season after being one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl coming into the season.

The Broncos currently are ranked first in regards to fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, only allowing an average of 8.6 points per game. Unfortunately for Luck owners, I don’t see this changing in Week 9.

If you can, I would start almost any other quarterback rather than Andrew Luck this week. It is almost guaranteed that he will struggle against the fierce pass rush that the Broncos boast, and I see a couple of turnovers and sacks in his future.

If you have to, look to the waiver wire before putting Luck in as your starting quarterback this week. Owners beware this week.
