Week 9 Projection: Standard: 9/PPR: 11. RB. Chicago Bears. Jeremy Langford. 4. player. 57

Start ‘Em #2

Jeremy Langford will be getting his first start of the 2015 NFL season with Chicago starting running back Matt Forte going down with an injury.

Langford and the Bears matchup with the struggling San Diego Chargers defense in Week 9. The Chargers rank 23rd in the NFL in points allowed to opposing running backs, so I think Langford could have a nice kickoff to his starting career in Chicago.

The Bears offense hasn’t been anything particularly exciting so far this season with the exception of running back Matt Forte who has been the anchor for this team. With Langford now being the starting back, look for the Bears to at least try giving Forte’s workload to Langford to see if he can handle it.

I would consider Langford to be worthy of a fantasy start this week in most leagues. Consider him a low-end #2 fantasy running back and a great option to play in the flex as well.

If he is still on the waiver wire in your league, go pick him up ASAP. He could end up being one of the best waiver wire adds for the entire 2015 fantasy season.
