The Good: Corey Fatony

As a long-time Kansas City Chiefs fan, there may be one sign above all others that proves how bad your team is. That sign, of course, is that your best player on offense is the punter.

For years, that player for the Chiefs was punter Dustin Colquitt. Now, the Missouri Tigers have a player of their own that they can love for all the wrong reasons: Corey Fatony.

Fatony had NINE punts, which averaged nearly 48 yards per punt. He also had a fantastic run on a fake punt that picked up 26 yards and a first down for his team. Unfortunately, that run was the second longest play of the game, second only to a Drew Lock scramble for 33 yards.

Don’t get me wrong. Fatony is a great player, but no college offense wants their best player, let alone their leading rusher for a majority of the game, to be the punter.
