The 2015 season has been quite the ride for the Kansas City Royals.

After a World Series appearance in 2014, Royals fans were stoked for what the 2015 season had in store for them. It started off with a 7-0 run to jump start the season, and continued to be a season to remember for everyone in Kansas City.

No matter what obstacles were thrown the Royals’ way, they bounced back even stronger every time. When other teams targeted the Royals and beaned them with pitches, the Royals didn’t let them push them around. When guys suffered injuries, the reserves picked them up and helped this team win ball games.

Getting back to the World Series in back to back years is a tough task, but the Royals proved they were up for the challenge.

This was an incredible team throughout the season, and fans fell in love with them. That became evident when All-Star Game voting began and at one point, the fans had voted eight Royals as starters for the Ned Yost American League led team. The biggest problem with the non-Kansas City residents was the fact that Omar Infante had been one of those eight and was having a horrible year at the plate.

Seven Royals ended up making the All-Star Game (four starting) and they helped the AL win the big game. This meant if the Royals made it back to the World Series, Kauffman Stadium would play host to Games 1, 2, 6, and 7 just like the year prior.
