2) Cueto Has to Deal

Johnny Cueto pitched the Kansas City Royals into the ALCS last Wednesday, and he needs to look just as dominant in Monday’s match up in Toronto, if not better.

October is what Dayton Moore got Cueto for so he needs to go out there and mow the Blue Jays down one by one.

Cueto went eight innings last week and only gave up two runs. He was cruising against the Astros, but it was his first solid start in weeks.

Fans want to believe that Cueto can go out and handle these hard hitting Blue Jays, but it’ll be tough. The Jays have a tough lineup from top to bottom and Cueto can’t let the pressure get to him.

If Johnny Cueto has a bad game, the Royals will most certainly lose. They picked him up in Game 2 of the ALDS, but Cueto can’t expect his offense to do that every time, especially against a tough pitcher like Marcus Stroman.

Cueto needs to pitch another great game and keep Kansas City in this one.

No pressure Johnny.
