4) Get to Marcus Stroman

Marcus Stroman is scheduled to take the mound for the Jays on Monday night, and he’s been dominant in 2015. He only had four starts this season due to a knee injury, but in those four starts he went 4-0 and posed a 1.67 ERA.

If the Royals can get Stroman out of the game early, then it’s safe to say Advantage: Royals.

The postseason hasn’t been as beautiful for Stroman, but he’s still been decent. No, he doesn’t have a sparkling 1.67 ERA, but instead has a 3.46 ERA in two starts.

Stroman started Games 2 and 5 and between the two pitched 13 innings. He gave up 11 hits for five runs and one home run.

The Royals have to get to Stroman early and get him out of the game. David Price was straight up dealing against KC in Game 2, but once they figured him out, the Blue Jays kept Price out there rather than move to the bullpen.

If the Royals can get Stroman out of the game early, then it’s safe to say Advantage: Royals.
