KC Chiefs: Five Possible Running Back Candidates

I feel like the Denver Broncos gave up on Montee Ball way too soon. Ball was a terrific running back while in school at Wisconsin, but he failed to live up to his second round draft pick just two years ago.
He still has time to adjust and figure out what didn’t work for him in Denver.
Ball only started three games while a member of the Broncos (he played backup to Knowshon Moreno his rookie year) and only played in five total his second year in the pros. Once C.J. Anderson emerged in Ball’s absence (he had a groin injury that kept him out most of the year), the Broncos decided to roll with him at running back.
Fast forward to now, and Ball is a free agent and probably considered a “bust” to most NFL fans.
Only compiling five touchdowns in two years doesn’t seem like the recipe for success, but Ball is a young player. He still has time to adjust and figure out what didn’t work for him in Denver.
As of now, it doesn’t appear that Ball has worked out for the Chiefs just yet, but something still could come for the former Badger.
