Fantasy Football 2015: Start Em, Sit Em for Week Six
Tight end Martellus Bennett (83) – Credit: Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports
Martellus Bennett struggled last week in Chicago’s win in Kansas City last week, but he was targeted a team-high 11 times by quarterback Jay Cutler.
Cutler obviously wants to get him the ball and does so whenever he can, especially with the injuries to his top 3 receivers in Alshon Jeffery, Eddie Royal, and Kevin White. All 3 missed last week’s game versus Kansas City.
In Week 6, Bennett and the Bears take on Detroit Lions, who are ranked 26th against fantasy football tight ends, meaning he should be in for a big week no matter who is healthy and who isn’t.
I expect a double-digit output from Bennett this week, and I think he should be started in all leagues unless you have a Gronkowski or maybe Jimmy Graham.
