123. Week 5 Projection: Standard: 15/PPR: 20. WR. Dallas Cowboys. Terrance Williams. 3. player

Start Em #3

Terrance Williams has found himself in a very lucky spot with the Dallas Cowboys this season in terms of fantasy value due to all the injuries in the Cowboys’ lineup so far in this young NFL season.

Through 4 weeks, they have lost Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, Lance Dunbar, and others, not to mention what they have already lost on the defensive side of the ball as well.

All of these injuries in Dallas means that Williams is the #1 wide receiver for the time being for backup quarterback Brandon Weeden to throw to.

So far with Weeden, Williams has looked pretty good and is obviously the #1 guy that Weeden is looking to on passing plays (even though it seems he checks down to one of the running backs on almost every play).

In Week 5, Williams matches up with the New England Patriots, in what should be a pretty comfortable Patriots win with the way they’re playing lately.

This being said, I think that Tom Brady and co. will put up a lot of points on the Cowboys defense, forcing Weeden and the Cowboys offense to have to try and keep up, and making Weeden air the ball out a bunch.

I think that even though the Cowboys will lose, Terrance Williams should have quite a solid Week 5 as a fantasy receiver. I would consider him a middle-of-the-road #2 fantasy wide-out and a great flex play as well this week.
