4.) Offense disappearing

The Royals offense looked dominant early on in the season. Kendrys Morales proved that he was possibly the best free agent acquisition during the off-season and definitely deserves the Comeback Player of the Year award in 2015.

Even with Morales’ hard hitting, the Royals have periods where their offense just flat out disappears, and it’s terrifying. All teams go through slumps, but last year’s team was not a great offensive one. They relied on speed to get the job done.

Hopefully, the Royals can generate enough offense to make it far in October, but if they go through any of their slumps during the playoffs, expect a short-lived appearance from the Royals.
