Week 3 of the 2015 NFL season is here, and that means it is time to take a look at your fantasy football lineups.

This is my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em article where I try to help you make some tough lineup decisions, whether that means starting a players that normally doesn’t start for your team, or benching a player that is normally in your starting lineup.

Here are my Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em picks from last week:

Last Week’s Start ‘Em

123. . WR. Dallas Cowboys. Terrance Williams. 5. player

Terrance Williams fared pretty well in Week 2 against the struggling Philadelphia Eagles. Williams was consistently targeted throughout the game even though starting quarterback Tony Romo was knocked out of the game with a broken collarbone.

Backup quarterback Brandon Weeden and Williams were on the same page as well and hooked up for a touchdown later in the game. He ended up with 84 yards and 1 touchdown on the day.

Without Dez Bryant in the lineup, there are many more targets to go around in the Cowboys passing offense, and Williams will likely continue to be the beneficiary of that.

If you played him in Week 2, you probably liked his results, as he was most likely your flex play if he made it into your lineup. Regardless, Williams was a good play in Week 2.

59. . QB. Miami Dolphins. Ryan Tannehill. 4. player

Ryan Tannehill was the lucky quarterback in Week 2 to matchup with the notoriously poor defense in the Jacksonville Jaguars. He scorched the Jaguars with 359 yards and 2 touchdowns as well in a very good fantasy performance.

Tannehill has been very pedestrian in terms of fantasy production so far in his career, but with the Dolphins progressively getting better and adding talent to the roster, he is really starting to earn his hefty contract he signed this offseason.

In most 12-team leagues Tannehill is a boarder-line starting fantasy quarterback most weeks, but when faced with a matchup like this, he should be given a hard look before finalizing your lineup for the week if you own him or he’s on your waiver wire.

QB. Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger. 3. player. 55.

Big Ben and the red-hot Pittsburgh Steelers passing attack matched up with the depleted San Francisco 49ers defense and picked them apart for one of the better games in his long and illustrious career.

Roethlisberger ended Week 2 with 369 passing yards and 3 touchdowns on the way to the Steelers win. His top target Antonio Brown was all over the field and nearly finished with 200 receiving yards.

Brown is obviously one of the most talented receivers in the entire NFL, and Roethlisberger is utilizing him perfectly.

Big Ben has made his way into the fantasy elite this season and should be started in almost all leagues.

Last Week’s Sit ‘Em

LeGarrette Blount. 2. player. 47. . RB. New England Patriots

LeGarrette Blount made his 2015 debut in Week 2 after being suspended in Week 1 for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. He returned to a matchup with the extremely stout Buffalo Bills run defense, which is why I had him listed as a sit for last week.

Blount was thought to be the starter for the Pats heading into the game, but he was only given 2 carries in the entire game and ended with just 6 total yards.

Tom Brady seems to like what Dion Lewis has to offer coming out of the backfield as a pass-catcher which really hurt Blount’s playing time in Week 2.

Blount should get better as the season progresses, but in matchups like these, he may be better left on the bench in the future.

1. player. 49. . WR. Green Bay Packers. James Jones

If you went against my advice last week and decided to play James Jones against the best secondary in the NFL in the Seattle Seahawks you got EXTREMELY lucky.

Jones was only targeted twice in Week 2, one of which was a 29-yard touchdown reception. In standard leagues, that counts for 8 points on his lone catch…

That’s what I call lucky.

Playing almost any receiver against the Seahawks is hard because of all the different things that their defense can do to slow down opposing wide-outs and they did pretty good against Jones in Week 2 other than allowing his lone reception in the game.
