5) I was wrong last week about Alex Smith

Alex Smith is a funny guy.

Will Alex Smith eventually come around and blossom into a great quarterback? Nobody knows, but we can’t sit around waiting to find the answer.

One week he looks absolutely great, and the next week he looks dreadfully bad. While Smith didn’t put up an insane performance against Houston last week, he did a fine job of helping the team win. He did what he always does, protected the football, and made the big plays when he needed to.

Last night was a completely different Alex Smith, the Alex Smith that fans have come to despise. Smith is so unpredictable, but we don’t really know if he truly can lead a team to success. There’s nothing that Chiefs hate more than mediocre quarterbacks, and we have one leading our team right now.

Will Alex Smith eventually come around and blossom into a great quarterback? Nobody knows, but we can’t sit around waiting to find the answer.

This year has to be a great year for Smith, because the Chiefs shouldn’t settle for mediocrity. This city deserves more than that.
