KC Chiefs: Five Things Learned vs Broncos

4) Peyton Manning is not done
When I originally began this article last night, I had that written the other way around. Peyton Manning looked dreadful in his first few offensive drives, as he wasn’t able to do anything against the Chiefs pass rush. Once the Broncos gained momentum though, it was a completely different story.
Manning returned to his normal self at the end of the first half, and for the entire second half. He exploited the defenses weaknesses, and found ways to make plays even when they looked busted. He wasn’t perfect, but he didn’t play like a quarterback on the decline, either.
The thing about Manning is that just when you think you’ve got him right in your crosshairs, he’s already fired his gun. He has an uncanny ability to make quick adjustments on the sideline, and find whatever it is the other team isn’t good at.
Manning is now 7-0 against the Chiefs as a Bronco, and 14-1 all-time.
Chiefs fans are really tired of seeing Manning, and for good reason. On the bright side, we can take solace in the fact that Eli has more Super Bowl wins, right?
