KC Chiefs: Five Things Learned vs Broncos

3) Jamell Fleming is utterly terrible
Jamell Fleming was such a train wreck. He was outmatched in every aspect, and looked like he didn’t have a clue what was happening. No matter what Bob Sutton tried to do help the kid out, nothing worked.
What is more interesting about the Fleming debacle however, is a thought that was tweeted out by 610 Sports Radio host Danny Parkins.
Cooper was on the roster last year, and was the victim of Manning’s relentless attacks in 2013. Nelson was a draft pick this year, but has seen no time on the field at all, and was inactive for the game last night. If Fleming was that bad last night, are Cooper and Nelson even worse that they can’t overtake the position?
If that’s the case, the Chiefs are in a world of hurt until Sean Smith returns from his suspension.
As I mentioned, they will face the Packers at Lambeau next Monday, and then travel to Cincinnati to face what seems to be a resurgent Andy Dalton offense. I’m not really sure what’s going on at the cornerback position, but Reid needs to figure it out quickly.
